About Us

Testing for a greener future

SCS has evolved into the country’s leading NSTS tray test specialists, adapting European standards for indoor test halls to cover in field testing. Creating City & Guilds qualifications has ensured our testers are fully competent.

We work with machine and fertiliser manufacturers assisting in the design and development of spreaders and fertilisers which gives you the confidence that SCS is a company that is committed to improving standards in fertiliser applications, making for a greener future.

The SCS Family

Our business is built from a sturdy family cornerstone consisting of:

Founder & CEO

Rob Foxall

At the helm of the ship, Rob took on the company in 1999, seeing it grow from testing less than 300 machines to over 4000 annually. Rob ensures the company maintains the highest standards in the industry keeping SCS ahead of the game. Any spare time left is spent running the family farm producing quality beef and hay.

Office Manager

Alex Langley

After graduating in 2012, Alex started working for the family company. Her role as office manager has become more demanding as she has taken on company accounts as well as day to day administration. Her organisational prowess ensures smooth running of the office.

Operations Manager

Charlotte Foxall

After Graduating in 2013 Charlotte also joined the company. Charlotte is operations manager for SCS, she arranges testing dates for our office engineers and keeps the SCS team in line. She is also hands on with field trials at Rookery Farm for spreader and fertiliser manufacturers so knows a thing or two about emptying trays.

Office Assistant

Sharon Whittingham

Sharon joined the office team in autumn 2017 and works alongside Alex, concentrating on the day to day admin processes. With previous experience in event organisation and credit control Sharon can be called on by all members of the team for help!
